What is TAP?

TAP is a Banknote authentication process to bring peace of mind to our customers. Banknote World has always guaranteed that every product we sell is authentic. We are able to do this by certifying selected notes using our TAP (Trust, Authenticate, Protect) authentication procedures. 

Banknote World’s TAP certified products are packaged in a custom protective and tamper-resistant sleeve and include authenticity information, a unique Authentication Number, and a QR code. The unique QR code can be used to look up your specific banknote on our website and prove your ownership of each authenticated banknote. You will easily be able to prove the authenticity of your banknote so you won't have to worry about things ever again.

TAP Submission Form

We are also accepting non-TAP banknotes to be assessed and authenticated by us.

 

To have your personal banknote collection submitted to Banknote World's TAP Authentication, follow these steps:

 

1. Fill out the Banknote Submission Form.  Select the banknotes you would like to submit from the drop-down menu options.  Enter the serial number for each banknote and click save.  Add additional banknotes and once you are finished click "Continue to Checkout"
2. Prepare your banknotes to be mailed.

*Please Note: This service is ONLY for raw banknotes to be TAP authenticated and is not intended for banknotes that have been purchased already encased and "TAPed". Purchased TAP banknotes are already registered and there is no need for them to be re-entered into the TAP submission page.
